Ciara has been mountain bike racing for the past 10 years and is Northern Ireland's only female international cross country MTB athlete having been part of the Irish National XC MTB team in 2006 & 2007.
Ciara continues to race both nationally in Ireland & UK while dividing her time between training, running a successful business and working as Mountain Bike executive officer for Cycling Ulster.  As a fully qualified mountain Bike leader with SummitMountainBiking.com and Cycling Ireland Level 1 coach there is a wealth and breadth of experience to call upon to meet the challenges of mountain bike racing. 

Recent highlights in Ciara's racing career have included: a silver medal in the 2008, 2009  & 2010 Irish National XC Championships, 7th spot in the 2010 Breck Epic MTB Stage race as a solo rider and selection for the Cycling Ulster Women's Road Race team for the 2010 Ras na mBann stage race placing 3rd highest county rider.

Conor has been mountain biking for just as long and loves everything to do with 2 wheels which is obvious from the huge collection of bikes he has managed to acquire over the years!  Conor's interest in all things mechanical and his eagerness to strip and re-build everything means that he has a huge amount of knowledge and experience in bike mechanics and maintenance.  As co-owner of SummitMountainBiking.com with Ciara and also a qualified MTB Leader and foundation coach, Conor is Ciara's "right hand man" when it comes to race support and can often be seen in the feed zone at races hand out bottles and catching up on all the feed zone gossip.  Conor has also taken part in many local races both cross country and marathon so understands all the effort involved in racing.
